The "Foundation"
"Inspired by the reframing of existential and psychodynamic approaches in a therapy setting, Cognitive Inquiry is the practice of investigating how we construct meaning. Rather than moving to compliance, exploring the internal logic of your mind uncovering the 'Gaps' between your current reality and your desired existential autonomy."
Existential
Autonomy
The "Goal"
"The agency to define your own meaning and purpose rather than accepting those pre-defined by society. We help you ascertain your internal logic to develop a self-determined path in environments you help create."
The "Win-Win"
"The understanding that neurodivergent value is unlocked through co-creation. By removing barriers and shifting focus from the person to the system, we ensure that individuals value delivers maximum impact"
The "Action"
"Moving beyond the 'deficit model' to focus on systemic alignment. We identify the environmental 'scaffolding' and cognitive framing required to move from a state of preparation to one of high-impact action."
Neuro-inquiry
The "How"
"A collaborative process of validating your unique experience while staying curious about your cognitive architecture. We explore how you experience the world to co-design environments where you can be the best version of 'you'."
The Free Energy Principle
The "Why"
"Drawn from the neuroscience of Karl Friston, the Free Energy Principle proposes that all living systems are organised around a single biological imperative: to minimise surprise. Your nervous system is constantly predicting what the world will do next; when those predictions are wrong, the neurodivergent system floods, it costs energy - real, biological energy. Its the measurable consequence of a prediction machine operating an environment not optimised.
The Markov Blanket
"The interface between your internal world and everything outside it. Think of it as a filter - not a wall, but a dynamic boundary that determines what gets in, what gets processed, and at what cost. When that boundary becomes too porous, the world floods in faster than it can be processed and that needs refining"
Bottom-up thinking
The "Logic"
"The unique way many neurodivergent minds process information—gathering "data" from the world before forming a conclusion. We validate this internal logic as a high-value tool."
